DESCRIPTION
In 2010, the Holy Kingdom of Britain established itself as a military power, beginning with the conquest of Japan. It was renamed Area 11 after its immediate defeat, and Japan saw strong opposition from these dictatorships in an effort to regain independence. Lelouch Lamperouge, a British student, unfortunately finds himself shot in the middle of fire between British and Area 11 soldiers. Recognizing the enormous power of his "perfect obedience," Lelouch embarks on a dangerous journey as a covert tycoon known as Zero, which has led to a non-violent attack on Britain in retaliation.

In one timeline, the world is divided into three major powers: the Holy Britannian Empire (the Americas; also called Britannia), the Chinese Federation (Asia), and Europa United (Europe and Africa). The story comes after the defeat of the Holy British Empire of Japan on August 10, 2010 a.t.b., using a new British weapon, the "Autonomous Armored Knight", or "Knightmare Frame". Next, Britain successfully stripped Japan and its citizens of all rights and freedoms and renamed the country Area 11 and its citizens called the Elevens.
Lelouch vi Britannia is an exiled British prince, the son of Emperor Charles zi Britannia and his royal companion Marianne vi Britannia. Lelouch has a sister, Nunnally vi Britannia. Marianne was brutally murdered by terrorists inside the palace and Nunnally, who witnessed her mother's murder, suffered such a lot that she lost her sight and will not walk. Lelouch developed hatred against his father, believing that his father failed his mother and sister by making an invisible eye on his mother's death and by failing to follow their mother's killer.
Lelouch and Nunnally are being sent as political workers to Japan to make the Japanese government feel safe. After the brothers were sent to Japan, Japan was attacked and defeated by Britain. With the ruins of Japan at its disposal, Lelouch promises his Japanese friend Suzaku Kururugi that at some point he will destroy Britain as an act of revenge against his father.
Seven years later, Lelouch (now Lelouch Lamperouge), is now a well-known student who has dropped out of Ashford Academy. Lelouch takes part in a terrorist attack and finds a mysterious girl named C2. (C2), who saves Lelouch's life from the British Royal Guard, by making a deal with him and giving Lelouch the supernatural power referred to as Geass. This power, also known as the "Power of the Kings", allowed him to command anyone to do whatever he wanted, including bending his will to live, fight, or die for his sake. This force can affect a person only once and through direct eye contact. Lelouch decides to use his Geass to find his mother's killers, destroy the British Empire, and build a better world where Nunnally can live happily ever after. At that point, Lelouch becomes Zero, a well-dressed guard and leader of an opposition movement known as The Black Knights, gaining popularity and support among the Japanese on the way to the British uprising. However, this does not come without cost. Trapped in an argument when he is not fully aware of his power, Lelouch will have to fight Suzaku, an opposition member named Kallen Stadtfeld, the world's most powerful army, his siblings, and many others in the war that will permanently change the world.
