DESCRIPTION
Gokuu Son is a young boy living alone in the forest — that is, until a girl named Bulma runs to him in search of a set of magical objects called "Dragon Balls." Since these antiques are said to give one wish to anyone who collects all seven, Bulma hopes to collect them and wish a perfect boyfriend. Gokuu holds a dragon ball, but unfortunately, Bulma refuses to part with it, so he makes a deal with her: he can mark her on the trip if he lets her borrow the power of the dragon ball. So the two of them set out on a journey together for the rest of their lives. They are not alone in the journey. Along the way, they met an old Muten-Roshi student and wannabe Kuririn, with whom Gokuu was training to become a powerful karate artist for the upcoming World Martial Arts Tournament. However, not all fun and games are; the ability to make any wish come true is strong, and there are others who can do worse than wish a boyfriend. To stop those who will try to abuse the power of the myth, they train themselves to be powerful warriors, using their newly acquired power to help the people around them along the way.

Earth, known as Dragon World and designated as "Planet 4032-877" by the celestial kingdom, is the main base of the entire Dragon Ball series, with related media such as Dr. Slump, Nekomajin, and Jaco the Galactic Patrolman. It is largely inhabited by humans on earth, a term used only to refer to all intelligent creatures created on earth, including humans, anthropomorphic creatures, and beasts. Starting with the Dragon Ball Z series, various astronauts such as the Saiyans and the Namekites have played a very important role in the franchise media.
The Dragon Ball narrative largely follows Goku's self-sacrifice; when they meet Bulma at the beginning of the series, they both start collecting seven Dragon Balls. Goku later received training in martial arts from Master Roshi, met his lifelong friend Krillin, and entered the World Martial Arts Tournament to fight the world's greatest heroes. When the evil king Piccolo, and later his descendants Piccolo, try to conquer the planet, Goku receives training from the gods of the earth to conquer them. Goku later gives up his life to save the planet from his estranged brother Raditz, but later trains a post-mortem life under the control of King Kai, saving it for some Saiyans Nappa and Vegeta. He later became Super Saiyan and defeated the powerful dictator Frieza. This sets the tone for the whole series, and each enemy the characters face becomes stronger than the last, requiring them to receive further training.
