The series focuses on Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who, inspired by his childhood portrait and powerful pirate "Red Haired" Shanks, embarked on a journey from the East Blue Sea in search of a treasure called the Pirates. In an attempt to arrange his team, the boater Pirates, Luffy rescues and becomes a sword friend Roronoa Zoro, and that they depart in search of one Piece.
